"The Scott" Edwardian Hip Pad
"The Scott" Edwardian Hip Pad
A replica of The Scott three-piece hip pad patented c. 1905 will give your body smooth Edwardian lines.
It is form-fitting, invisible when worn, light in weight, ventilated and reversible. It is especially adapted for figures having no back hips. It gives a symmetrical figure and causes the skirt to hang and drape gracefully, and can be worn under or over your corset.
The pad fastens with a waist tie. The listed hip pad fits 22"- 32" corseted waist sizes. Please let me know if yours is different by adding a personalization or sending a message. Price doesn't go up for larger sizes!
LEAD TIME: It takes up to 10 business days to complete and ship your order. All packages are sent tracked and insured.Â
In the 1900s many undergarment designers focused on the nature of hygienic and sanitary garments. The original patent documents state that this type of a pad features "an innovative quilted and grommeted construction that render the pad ‘ventilated’".
