All Edwardian "Maud" corsets are made from heavy single layer coutil and are boned with a mix of synthetic whalebone and steel. Quantity of bones in a corset varies depending on a garment's size. "Maud" Edwardian corsets are midbusts that stop 1" (2.5 cm) above nipple line. You can choose between 5 colors of cotton coutils: white, ivory champagne, beige nude, gray and black.
SIZING: Based on your body type, squishiness and silhouette expectations, you can choose between Standard Curvy and Dramatic Curvy options. Each of them has a separate size chart in metric and imperial systems.
Standard Curvy is recommended for beginners and those who prefer overall support over figure modification.
Dramatic Curvy is recommended for experienced corset wearers and ones with a hourglass body type, as well as those who aim for defined curves.
As for the length of torso, "Maud" is available in 4 lengths (distance from waist to midbust at front) to pick from: 6.5”, 7”, 8”, 8.5” (16 cm, 18 cm, 20 cm, 22 cm).
Unsure which size to pick? Feel free to get in touch with me via online chat or email info@theboudoirkey.com in case if you're uncertain which size and type will fit you best - I will make a recommendation based on your natural measurements!
WHAT IS INCLUDED: please note that the corset you receive will not have a front hook, as seen in the first image. Photos 1, 5 and 6 are provided for silhouette and shape reference, and finished products will be made out of materials shown in photo 4. There will be 7 meters (7.6 yards) of lacing ribbon included with your corset. You can choose whether to include removable hip padding with your corset or not to include, if you plan to wear your corset unpadded. To add flossing embroidery to your corset, please pick a design, color and add the Flossing Embroidery Surcharge to your basket. To add lace decoration, click here - Lace Decoration Surcharge. To add a removable modesty panel, click here - Removable Modesty Panel - it will be made out of the same fabric as your corset. To add elastic suspenders, click here - Elastic Suspenders (Garters) Surcharge.
LEAD TIME: made-to-order corsets are normally made from scratch based on a standard size chart, unlike ready-to-ship pieces. Production of your made-to-order corset is going to take from 2 to 4 weeks, unless already in-stock (in such cases it takes up to 3 business days to pack and ship). It is always ideal to discuss a deliver-by deadline, otherwise the order will be processed in the order it was received. Clear deadlines allow for effective work planning.
SHIPPING: "Maud" corsets are handmade by me and are shipped worldwide from Warsaw, Poland with UPS within the European Union or FedEx to the rest of world, with full insurance.
